One of the great centers of entertainment and recreation in the Philippines is Angeles City. A former suburb of the huge Clark Air Base complex, Angeles City is now a destination for travelers and thrill-seekers of all ages. Lying about an hour northwest of Manila, Angeles City is also located within a few miles due west of Mount Pinatubo, the volcano that in 1991 erupted with devastating force. Mount Pinatubo now slumbers, offering incredible vistas and amazing natural displays of lava flows and ash canyons. In Angeles City you can enjoy the Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan Festival (Music and Dancing in the Streets Festival), a street party lasting throughout the night on the city streets, usually for 2 to 3 days at the end of October. Local casinos offer gambling and luxury accommodations, and the downtown area is filled with historical sites, including the Holy Rosemary Cathedral and the Salakot Arch. The former location of Clark Air Force Base is now the Clark Free Zone, a duty-free entertainment complex filled with hotels, restaurants, casinos and nightclubs. One of the only Holiday Inn Resorts in the area, this hotel features deluxe facilities that go for $60/night and up. With its 300 rooms, villas and suites The Holiday Inn is definitely the largest hotel in the area. It also is conveniently located next to the Mimosa Leisure Estate, an entertainment complex that maintains an excellent golf course and a busy casino. Known primarily as a convention hotel serving Clark Free Zone events, the Inn offers smoking and non-smoking rooms and lies only a few miles away from the downtown Angeles City attractions and entertainment district.

A five-star hotel next to the Angeles City entertainment district, the ABC is a unique resort featuring a swimming pool with an artificial beach covered in white sands!
